Heather Galler is a Folk Artist

Folk Art - Tells us something about the artists life, culture or family. Not trained in art school. Instead creates art that is important to him/her.

Heather Galler works and lives in New York.

Heather is inspired by environments including Mexican, Italian and French cultures. She also is inspired by movies, music, books and other art.

Helen uses bright bold colours, thick black lines and lots of pattern. Her work is colourful and fun!

Students use sharpie onto A3 paper as a starting point. This allows for freedom and confidence to be courageous while they create their designs and patterns.
